Trump Tulsa Rally Flops, Controversial

Trump’s rally held yesterday in Tulsa arrived at another cruelly-timed date, coinciding with Juneteenth holiday (celebrating slave liberation) with the Tulsa race massacres occurring 99 years ago to the month. With his lack of statement around the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis, the US President continues to create controversy.
The rally also saw ‘disappointing’ turnouts with rows of empty seats, reportedly upsetting President Trump with to the rally marking the restart of his 2020 campaign. Coinciding with the US COVID-19 death toll reaching 120,000, Trump’s encouragement of attendance and lack of safety precautions is highly inappropriate.
