In June 2018 Fiona conducted an interview with Perth chap Tom Austen about his book Dear Mother… the story of 19 year old Will Dunn who was aboard the Orvieto in a convoy of more than 40 ships carrying troops and horses from Australia and New Zealand, as it sailed from Albany on November 1, 1914 to WW1. Fiona talks about how aspects of that interview impacted her, and gives us an insight into Tom Austen himself.
