In 1911, the first International Women’s Day was held in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Austria. 1 million men and women demonstrated in the four nations.
In 1994, the largest omelette was cooked in Yokohama, Japan. At 128.6 meters squared, the omelette was cooked with 160,000 eggs.
In 2019, Southern California saw it’s largest recorded ‘super-bloom’ of poppies that was visible from space.
