Italy claims EU lack of solidarity

As 16 million people are affected by the lockdown in northern Italy, the government has criticised the EU and its member states of being slow in coming to the country’s aid over the coronavirus epidemic. Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin has not ruled out running for president again beyond 2024, when his term ends.
