For doctors’ better understanding of ASD

Recent research shows parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are frustrated by the lack of understanding and knowledge of health professionals treating their children.
Paediatric and occupational therapy expert at the University of South Australia, Dr Kobie Boshoff, joins Breakfast to explain the findings of this study which highlights the need for health professionals to change their approach and treatment of families of children with ASD.
