On this day in history;
In 1930, Mahatma Gandhi and 80 followers began the Salt March in Jalalpur to campaign against British salt tax, beginning the fight for Indian independence.
In 1994, The Church of England ordained its first 32 female priests, appointing Libby Lane who later become the Church’s first female bishop.
