One-off social security payments

As part of this week’s Federal Government Economic Stimulus Package, a once-off payment will be awarded to New Start and Youth Allowance recipients.
Although this is a useful payment, The Australian Council of Social Service say an ongoing and permanent 95 dollar a week raise to allowances is what is really needed.
