In the wake of the bushfires, it has never been more important for young Aussies to have a keen sense of ecological awareness.
However, despite Australia’s bounty of unique, fascinating wildlife, its likely that your child might know more about dinosaurs than dugongs.
Kirsten Parris, Professor of Urban Ecology, School of Ecosystem and Forest Sciences at the University of Melbourne joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to elaborate.
