On This Day – 28 February

Breakfast presenter Zoe Kounadis tells us the stories surrounding 28 February in history. For example, divorce was illegal in Ireland until its approval on this day … in 1997! Also, the famous Beatles hangout in Liverpool, The Cavern Club, closed its doors in 1966. However, The Club reopened in 1984 a few doors away and worked as a warm up place for important bands like Arctic Monkeys and Oasis.
