In the wake of this summer’s fires, hail storms and floods, the latest Cost of Living report from the South Australian Council of Social Service highlights the importance of insurance costs in household budgets, the long-term trend of soaring insurance costs, and the implications of un- and under-insurance for vulnerable households.
