Dissatisfaction among Australian teachers

34 per cent of Australian teachers are unhappy at work and only 42 per cent of them want to remain in the profession.
These are some of the major findings of the Monash University study “Perceptions of Teachers and Teaching in Australia”.
Dr Amanda Heffernan, Lecturer in Leadership and lead author of the report, joins Breakfast to explain her findings which expose the high level of dissatisfaction among teachers in Australia.
