Malaya/Borneo Veterans: Back to Kuching, Sarawak Malaysia

Recently Australian, New Zealand, Malaysian and UK Veterans travelled from around the world to the Heroes’ Graveyard Cemetery in Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak in Malaysia. Today we bring you excerpts of their extremely moving commemoration service for the 53rd anniversary of the Cease Fire and Declaration of the End of the Indonesian Confrontation with Malaysia, and the 59th anniversary of the end of the Malayan Emergency. Strong bonds and genuine friendships across cultures are apparent. We can be proud of them.
