South Australian Attorney General Vickie Chapman has announced new gaming laws to be introduced to State Parliament.
Andrew and Shonica are gambling reform advocates and have experienced gambling addiction.
They work tirelessly in the community through groups such as Gambling Link South Australia and Pokies Anonymous, to educate the public and raise awareness of the harm caused by gambling.
They describe how they felt when they heard about the proposal to fit banknote acceptors to pokies and the harm gambling causes.
