Nationals Plan to Overhaul plant based Milk Products

Recently, the National Party announced their intention to move to ban plant based products from labelling themselves as milks. Agriculture Minister Bridget McKenzie has said this proposed policy has come from a need to “call things what they are”.
So can soy or almond based products justifiably be called milks?
RacheL Ankeny, Professor of History and Philosophy, and Deputy Dean Research at the University of Adelaide joined Tom and Zoe on Breakfast to talk about this issue.
