Juan Salgado – tribute to fallen compañero

An important part of today’s show was a poem and tribute by Juan Garrido Salgado to some of his fallen compañeros from Sept 11, 1973 in Chile, when the democratically elected and popular government was ousted by Pinochet, with a little help from some ‘friends’ (Kissinger, Nixon & co.)

The poem came from Juan’s new book of poems ‘When I Was Clandestine’, available through Rochford Press.
