Italian Government In Uncertainty

Italy’s interior minister, and leader of the anti-migration League, Matteo Salvini has pushed for a no-confidence vote that could see populist prime minister Giuseppe Conte’s government toppled.
In June, Salvini said after months of rising tension he has no intentions of bringing down the government and intends to accelerate its action.
“On August 20th, we will vote no-confidence in the prime minister. No to palace manoeuvres and to technical and bizarre governments. The democratic, transparent, linear path is that of elections,” Salvini said on Wednesday.
