Vegan Alternative’s Carbon Footprint

Vegan meat alternatives are becoming more and more popular, and are now claiming that their environmental impact in comparison to traditional meat farming is minimal.
A recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has found that a third of carbon emissions come from land, a large portion of which is coming from farming.
Maartje Sevenster, Research Scientist in Climate Smart Agriculture at the CSIRO joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to elaborate on this new information.
