Tory Shepherd On Freedom

Advertiser journalist Tory Shepherd has been told many times that she’ll change her mind about having kids.
But the truth is, by 2030, couples without children are going to outnumber those who have them.
She wrote the book On Freedom, about how women’s choices are reshaping society.
“Give women freedom and they actually end up at this level where they don’t want a lot of kids,” she tells presenter Tara Nash.
“And that is really interesting, because then there is this assumption that you can fix women – do something so they make the right decision – and that’s just not the case.”
