Lullabies to build connections
Posted on: Fri 9 Aug 2019
A new project in South Australia is taking the timeless tradition of lullaby and using it to promote family wellbeing, parent to child connection, community and child development.
The Lullaby Project Australia – Miitu Palti “Sleeping Song”, is the first Lullaby Project to be established in Australia, and workshops will be taking place in the Onkaparinga region.
Project Leader, Emily Gann, describes the origins of the project, the power of expressing one’s aspirations for their baby through song, and what makes a good lullaby.
