Inquiry into press freedom

The government has approved a parliamentary inquiry into press freedom following the raids of News Corp journalist and the ABC Sydney headquarters by the Australian Federal Police.
This is being criticised and dismissed by the major media organisations as unnecessary.
Denis Muller, Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Advancing Journalism at the University of Melbourne, joins Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to talk us through the repercussions of the inquiry.
