Australia’s Space Niche
Posted on: Tue 2 Jul 2019
South Australia will soon be the home to the Australian Space Agency, but what impact could we have on the international space community. We speak with physicist Gail Iles from RMIT about how Australia could carve a niche in the international space community by focusing on microgravity research rockets.
Gail Iles, Lecturer in Physics at RMIT University speaks with Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis about the potential for microgravity research in Australia.
If you’d like to hear more from Gail you can catch her at the STEM Enrichment Conference at Flinders University over the next three days
