Each year, Aged Rights Advocacy Service holds a conference to mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
It highlights the ongoing issues in aged services as well as showcasing the good practice occurring in the sector and the wider community.
This year’s conference coincides with the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
Chief Executive Carolanne Barkla speaks with Lisa Burns on Small Change about the areas of focus of this year’s conference and the progress of the Royal Commission.
