Volunteers make connections with rough sleepers
Posted on: Fri 24 May 2019
Connections Week brings together around 280 volunteers, who head out into Adelaide’s CBD to find out the names and needs of people who are sleeping rough.
It’s an initiative of the Adelaide Zero Project, which is working towards ending street homelessness in the inner city.
David Pearson, Executive Director at Don Dunstan Foundation, speaks to Small Change‘s Lisa Burns to give an update on the project we caught up last August; including the development of the new Adelaide Zero Project Dashboard, where data on rough sleepers is uploaded regularly and made publicly available, to keep the team more accountable.
