Tales of Bob the railway dog

As part of the South Australian History Festival, Dr John Wilson’s book Bob’s Railway will be launched this Sunday.
Bob’s Railway is a history of the travels of “Bob” the railway dog. Bob rode the trains in South Australia, and into Victoria and New South Wales from 1884 to 1895, during an era of political instability in South Australia and dysfunction in the colony’s Railway Department.
Dr Wilson talked with Tom and Zoe about Bob and what he can tell us about South Australian politics at the time.
