Jenn Barrett – & the Night Shift – Upon A Hill

Jenn Barrett has taken 2 years to make her new album – Upon A Hill, and its the first with her new band Jenn Barrett & the Nightshift.. So we got to enjoy samples of her new album and stories of her musical journey.
As a young’un Jenn was very shy about getting onto the stage and sing, even though she really wanted. She didn’t start to write songs until she was in her late 20s. Then she eventually decided to go back to study music at Adelaide Conservatorium as a mature student 4 years ago, and is very happy with her decision.
During the show, Jenn also told us her unique aspect as a performer and why she likes to do that.
