Teaching kids about gender

Research has shown that sexism exists as a result of our ideas around gender norms and roles. Can teaching children from a young age about gender prevent inequality in the long haul?

Dr Pani Farvid, Senior Lecturer of Psychology at Auckland University of Technology, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Zoe Kounadis to discuss how teaching kids about gender can prevent sexism before it is ingrained.
