James Bradley: Imagined Futures

James Bradley tries to imagine how climate change might look and feel in Australia and to write that into his novels without reverting to Mad Max tropes. James has published numerous prize-winning books, including Clade and the first two volumes of his Change Trilogy – The Silent Invasion and The Buried Ark.
James was in town for the Adelaide Writers Week. In this interview we began by talking about the influence of science fiction on his writing.
