Man Booker Prize Winner Ben Okri

Nigerian poet and novelist Ben Okri is in Adelaide to present his new book The Freedom Artist at Adelaide Writers’ Week, part of The Adelaide Festival 2019. Okri is the author of The Famished Road, which won the Man Booker Prize in 1991. His work has been translated into 27 languages and won numerous international prizes. Okri will appear at the Adelaide Writers’ Week poetry reading session on Monday March 4 at 5pm alongside Birgitta Jónsdóttir, David Malouf, Joelle Taylor and Fiona Wright.
