Reconciliation SA is holding its annual Apology Breakfast to mark the National Apology to the Stolen Generations.
This year’s keynote speaker is Uncle Jack Charles, a Stolen Generations man who is acknowledged as the grandfather of Aboriginal theatre in Australia.
Shona Reid is the new Executive Director at Reconciliation SA and this will be her first Apology Breakfast in the role.
She speaks to Small Change‘s Ross Womersley about what she’s hoping to bring to the new role and her past work across regions such as the APY Lands and West Coast, with Aboriginal children, young people, families and communities.
