The ability to own a home has long been referred to as “The Australian Dream,” however, about 1 in 3 Australians rent. A figure that is only expected to rise.
Better Renting is a community organisation which aims to improve conditions for the growing sector of society who do not own their own home. Better Renting is now looking to expand to other capital cities, including Adelaide.
The founder of Better Renting, community organiser and Adelaide export Joel Dignam joined Nick and Ian on Breakfast to talk about the concept.
