Des tells us about the long and honourable service of the 27th Battalion, the second of the predominantly South Australian Battalions to be raised in WW 1. We also ask Des about his own Army life; his volunteer piping; work with Multicultural radio; and his title of Commander of Clan Ross in Australia.
