Fred Smith: From Afghanistan and Bougainville to Adelaide

Fred has produced many very popular music albums, as well as continuing in his role as a diplomat with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade … but since he’s become a father he spends less time in risky places like Afghanistan and is also touring a lot in Australia … we asked him when he discovered the power of music-making to ‘build bridges’.
