Green buildings key to emissions targets

In signing the Paris Climate Agreement, the Australian Government committed to a global goal of zero net emissions by 2050.
The biggest threat to meeting these targets may not come from agriculture or electricity but buildings. Buildings are responsible for 25% of the nation’s carbon emissions and making them green may be one of the keys to meeting our emissions goals.
Igor Martek, lecturer in construction from Deakin University, joined Nick and Ian on Breakfast to talk more about this topic.
