The Compost Worm is an amazing creature who turns food scraps into fertilizer with the minimum of space, fuss and interference. Less trouble than looking after the family dog, and far smaller than, say, cows, we can all become backyard farmers of this wonderful creature. Eric Nicholson speaks with Barometer’s Sue Reece to tell us how.
