A lifetime of advocacy for blind and vision impaired
Posted on: Fri 11 Jan 2019
Rosemary and Malcolm Penn are a couple who were very well loved and respected around South Australia, and spent much of their lives advocating for people living with a vision impairment or blindness.
Malcolm played an instrumental role in introducing the legislation to allow Guide Dogs (and now all assistance dogs) to be permitted in all public places, while Rosemary founded community station, 5RPH (Vision Australia Radio).
In November, Rosemary passed away; her son David Penn, reflects on his parents’ lives and legacies with Small Change‘s Lisa Burns.
