Travis Robbins: Adelaide’s Tug Boats
Posted on: Mon 7 Jan 2019
We’ve had quite a few calls from people who missed a couple of broadcasts due to Xmas and New Year… and there was a technical hitch with our live-streaming and ‘Listen Back’ facilities, so we’re re-broadcasting the interviews from that period. This is one of them, and well worth re-listening to if you haven’t already heard it….
Well known local shipping enthusiast and photographer Trevor Powell OAM (his father was an RAAF WW2 Veteran), whose knowledge of shipping in our region is legendary, chats with Port Adelaide Tug Boat Master Travis Robbins. It’s a unique look into what happens in the life of those involved in our coastal shipping, and the history of our great little tug boats.
