Protecting the privacy of our genetic data

Our DNA provides valuable information about ourselves including our health traits. However, advances in genetics are outpacing public awareness thus raising concerns about the privacy of our DNA data.
Dr Caitlin Curtis, Research Fellow of the Centre for Policy Futures at the University of Queensland, joins Zoe Kounadis and Tom Mann to discuss the need for new legislation to protect our genetic data.
