Labor fails to commit to immediate Newstart raise

A motion put forward at the ALP National Conference failed to commit to an increase to Newstart and instead promised an 18 month review into the payment.
Claudia Ienco, State Co-coordinator for Anti-Poverty Network South Australia was at the conference along with many others from the network and describes her reaction to the result of the motion when it came through.
