Renters afraid to request repairs

A large number of renters are living in poor quality homes and are afraid to request repairs from their landlords or agents, according to a new report.
The report, ‘Disrupted: The consumer experience of renting in Australia’, has been released by Choice Australia, National Shelter and National Association of Tenant Organisations.
Dr Alice Clark, Executive Director at Shelter SA, reflects on the report’s findings and what’s happening in South Australia in regards to renters’ experiences and rights.
