Five per cent of our senior Australians are suffering abuse from someone close to them.
The initiative STOP ELDER ABUSE has helped to raise awareness of the problem thus causing a boost in the number of cases reported.
Jeanette Walters, Director of Intergovernment Relations and Ageing from SA Health, joins Zoe Kounadis to speak about elder abuse and the positive results of the initiative.
