An Evening with Cheryl van Wageningen

Pianist, composer and Meraldi-Peramangk Ngarrindjeri woman Cheryl van Wageningen has had a lifelong passion for classical piano and recently begun composing her own music that reflects her life, survival of the stolen generations and her connection to the Coorong.
She’ll be performing at Elder Hall tonight in a special concert celebrating both her accomplishments as a musician as well as her heritage as an aboriginal woman – and joined Breakfast’s Casey and Sam this morning to discuss the role her music has played in understanding and telling her life’s experiences.
