Conscientious Objectors to World War One

Sunday saw the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, with ceremonies held all over the world to commemorate those who lost their lives in World War 1.
While many Australians enlisted in that war, politics and society was in conflict over the Government policy of conscription with many people condemning the war and some refusing to fight on the grounds of conscientious objection.
Rick Sarre from the University of South Australia joined Ian on Breakfast to shed a light on those who refused to fight in the conflict.
