Iranian Film Festival in Adelaide

This year, the Iranian Film Festival Australia has something for everyone, with a range of dramas and comedies filling out the program.
Filmmaker Jafar Panahi’s 3 Faces is a notable addition, having won the Award for Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival earlier in the year. Panahi’s work is also the only film in the program currently banned from screening in Iran, although IFFA Festival Director Armin Miladi believes the situation for filmmakers in Iran is improving.
