PM’s Pub Rock Problem

Recently, Scott Morrison released a playlist of his favourite music, which was criticised for its lack of Australian songs.
In response, the PM was quick to share his “Australian Rock” playlist, a medley of pub rock hits that didn’t impress anyone looking for a reflection of Australia’s diverse music scene.
Catherine Strong, senior lecturer in the Music Industry from RMIT, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to discuss the significance of the PM’s playlist.
