Study in China or Australia?

China has the largest education system in the world. With almost 260 million students and over 15 million teachers in about 514 000 schools, excluding graduate education institutions, China’s education system is immense. But now there are an increasing number of Chinese students preferring to study in Australia. Last year there were more than 166,000 Chinese students in Australia and in the University of Adelaide, Chinese students account for 45% of the international enrolment.
So, what is different about Australia’s education system? Ruining Wang asked a local Chinese student to describe the Chinese education system and a parent, in China, about why he chose Australia for his daughter’s tertiary education.
