Nursing students challenged to manage ‘month’ of poverty
Posted on: Fri 26 Oct 2018
A group of 68 nursing students from the University of Adelaide have taken part in a simulation, challenging them to manage a ‘month’ of poverty while interacting with a broad range of social support systems.
The simulation was developed by the Missouri Community Action Network and held as part of Anti-Poverty Week.
Bridget, Michael, Nilly and Brendan speak to Small Change‘s Lisa Burns about the impact of the simulation and why they believe more students should take part.
