It’s Book Week for Susan Prior

The new Australian black comedy Book Week has just begun its season in Adelaide after a run of successful advance screenings. Following the failed novelist turned disgruntled English teacher, Mr Cutler, it’s a story of following your dreams, putting others first and embracing responsibility – and for actress Susan Prior (Puberty Blues, The Rover) it was a chance to branch out into something more distinctly comedic.
Susan caught up with Radio Adelaide’s Rob Lawry to learn more about the film, how she was especially sought out for her role, and the joys of low budget film-making.
