Michael’s lived experiences to inform future work

Over the last few months, SACOSS has been hosting a student intern who has been learning about the inner workings of the organisation, from policy to communications.
Michael Reardon is studying Journalism and International Relations at the University of South Australia.
Michael has lived experience of accessing and also volunteering in disability services, including presenting explainer videos on the National Disability Insurance Scheme, for Community Living Australia.
He speaks to Small Change‘s Lisa Burns about what makes him passionate about social services and his plans for working in the sector.
