Nothing about us without us! – Anti-Poverty Week
Posted on: Fri 12 Oct 2018
The format for this week’s show is a little different to our usual program.
As part of our focus on Anti-Poverty Week, which is being held from 14th to the 20th of October, this week’s program includes an interview with the Anti-Poverty Network of South Australia, as well as some great music that highlights the experiences of people living in poverty.
To find out more about Anti-Poverty Week and activities that will be taking place, we’re going to be talking with Tammy Headon and Joel Reynolds from the Anti-Poverty Network in South Australia.
This program includes the following music tracks:
- The Newstart Choir singing, “It’s time (for Newstart)”.
- Paul Kelly and Charlie Owen singing, “Hard times come again no more” off the album “Death’s Dateless Night”.
- Bruce Springsteen singing, “The Ghost of Tom Joad” off the album, “Ghost of Tom Joad”.
- Phil Collins singing, “Another day in paradise” off the album “The Singles”.
