A fundamental objective of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is to give those living with disability, a choice and control over their daily lives. Many carers find the scheme does not enable them to find paid employment.
Myra Hamilton, Senior Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, joins Nick and Ian on Breakfast to talk about this issue.
